The Three Sisters!

Trust me, somewhere out there in the midst of the mist are the legendary "Three Sisters". In taking up HobbsRun's challenge for Blippers to take an image of the Three Sisters before the 1st of May, CCN and I drove into Katoomba with one aim in mind. We would imagine we were tourists who had travelled across the world and one of the highlights of our trip to Australia was to visit the world famous "Three Sisters".

This lonely tourist would have to be the most optimistic tourist in the world today I would say! This is the view on Anzac Day Friday the 25th of April. If you had been that tourist and visited Katoomba on the following days, this is what you would have seen!
Defnitely worth viewing the LARGE version!

"HobbsRun" - Wednesday 23rd April
"Beckett" - Thursday 24th April

We felt so sad for the literally hundreds of tourists who had made the pilgrimage today and would not have the chance to come again. Thankfully there are some excellent postcards in the Souvenir Shop at Echo Point!

Today is a solemn day in Australia and New Zealand. It's the day we remember the men and women of both countries who have served our countries in times of War. A day when we reflect on our loved ones who lost their lives defending our countries and the sacrifices they made in doing so. "Lest We Forget"
