You are not Supposed to See Me!

This Green Hairstreak (maybe Chapman's?) was doing a fine job of impersonating a leaf as I went on another orchid hunting trip this morning, (this was my favourite). I have never seen one of these green butterflies before either, and just managed two shots before she realised I'd blown her cover!

Green velvet wings here, served upside down on a bouquet of Viper's Bugloss of the Borage family.

You are going to get either macros or telephoto shots for a little while, my mid range lens has gone to hospital, it caught a black spot just before going to Norway and it really spoilt a lot of my photos.
