Now, as I see it......

Woodland Scene

Today started off dull and very windy. We went down to the beach at Start Bay which is just below the cottage and started to walk but it really wasn't pleasant so we went off to Coleton Fishacre, a National Trust house near Kingswear. It used to be the home of the D'Oyly Carte family, who owned the Savoy Theatre and Hotel and were strongly connected with Gilbert & Sullivan. We really liked the house and this was taken in the gardens which lead down to the sea. Later, we had a look round Dartmouth and by the time we got back to the cottage the sun was out and the wind had dropped. So, it was back to Start Bay and that walk; very nice it was too, and finished off with an early drink in the Start Bay Inn.
