Easy morning at Tom’s flat with the homies. Sunshine on the balcony and tartare de boeuf at a local restaurant, after grabbing a milkshake and watching people walk by in the street. At this point, something clicked and we decided that money was gonna be worth spending as long as we made our choices right. Finally made it back home around 3pm to shower. We all joined up again at Tuileries for the sunset by the fountain. Another old time classic that’s never gonna change as long as those metal chairs remain. A friend of Eve’s, Mike, joined up when we decided to have a game of petanques. Danger petanque from a balcony? Sure, why not, just don’t hit the pigeons and the joggers. On the quest for food and beers, we found a supermarket and invented a new way of buying cold beers in a store, when there are none. We got stuff for a picnic, which we had by the Louvre at nightfall. That place where there’s rows of bushes and people chilling and drinking on the lawn. We wacked on the sound system and played some games of drunk ball v2. Police certainly found our game interesting. Lucky we didn’t try bowling beer bottles with the petanques or we’d have been busted. Lack of gamble meant this ended up being the chillest night and we made it back home before midnight, but hell, it’s awesome to relax properly with no worries on my mind.

Paris, I love you.

peace
