Beeeeeeaaaaccchhhhh!!!!

Took Audrey to Aberfraw beach this morning. It's amazing how much she's taking in now. I'm not saying that it's not worth doing things with babies or younger toddlers, but I have noticed that the things we've done more recently have had more impact. She's much more aware of what's happening and appreciates the new experiences.

I think it's because she understands so much more. Communication is getting easier and easier now she's speaking more. The word "beeeeacccchhhhh" was the word of the day today and she loved running away from the surf on the sand with her Daddy.

A disappointing lunch at Oystercatcher - it was so nice last time :( . Then it was home via a toy shop and some more of our "split shifts". Angus and I spend 45min each with Audrey while the other one flops upstairs with a book, then we switch over. Audrey gets a re-energised parent and we get to actually read our books (or snooze in Angus's case).

We go home tomorrow night. It has gone so fast, just wish we could stay all week!
