" COME ON AND CELEBRATE "

Today was the day Matthew has been waiting for and wishing to come quicker!!! He opted to open just two of his book presents before setting off for Weston Super Mare Helicopter Museum. Not to look at the exhibits but to buy even more books in the shop!! He also found the T shirt he is modelling so well.

Whilst at Weston, we of course went down to the beach, and after lunch, braved the wind. You can see how bad it was by Phoebe's ears and the sand rushing across the beach.

Back home it was the amazing cake our dear friend Tea Pot Sue (because there were so many Sues in the church) had made especially for him. And it did not disappoint, should come with a health warning:) x

The sun came out whilst we were enjoying a glass (or two) of Pimms and it brought with it the brightest rainbow we had ever seen. He also enjoyed champagne in the evening with a party tea. The day was rounded off with his favourite episodes of Open All Hours.

So a very special day much enjoyed and we didn't get wet!!!
