Rainy Day - Warm Glow

Well, it rained when we got up, it rained when we had lunch, it rained when we had dinner, and guess what - it is still raining long into the evening. What a grey and miserable day. Even more so if you are a Liverpool supporter I guess. In that case it doesn't rain, but it pours.

To offset our misery, we lit the fire. At least this gives us the illusion of basking in a warm glow, in this case coals and not beautiful sunshine. Still, it makes the garden green.

The materials today are ovoids, a type of smokeless coal. They burn hot and bright as - you can see. This materiality leads to an increase in our spirituality; it makes us feel warmer, brighter and more upbeat. It can be quite cozy sitting in front of a real fire on a rainy day.

I hope the sun makes an appearance tomorrow !
