40 Years...

... of Marriage.

Meet Bridget and Gordan.

They are my girlfriends Aunty and Uncle and today they have celebrated their Ruby Wedding Anniversary. 40+ wonderful years spent together after meeting for the first time when they were just teenagers. They are the epitome of what marriage is about and it would be lovely if all marriages could be this successful.

After a very difficult last year with health issues for the both of them they have stayed strong for each other through ongoing concerns. It was great to see them fully enjoying themselves along with everyone who attended.

I love them as if they were my own family and feel honoured to be part of the 30 strong friends and family that turned up for this great day. A big shout out to Kath & Tony (Girlfriends Parents) for putting on such a great party for everyone.
