Eternity’s sunrise

Training rest-day, following yesterday's "Edinburgh Great Run" exploits ;-)

So, meantime, here's a brief favourite, William Blake poem of mine - taken from the pictured 1988 collection edited by Seamus Heaney and Ted Hughes:

Eternity

He who binds to himself a joy
Does the winged life destroy;
But he who kisses the joy as it flies
Lives in Eternity’s sunrise.

William Blake (1757 – 1827)
