Monday: The Gagged Window

I was trying to look up the word that describes the bit above the window but couldn't find it.  Any ideas?  I want to say lintel, but I don't think that is it.

Our friend, Gabi, called round this evening and brought with her another friend, Rene.  Apparently, he is a famous food critic but we never know who is famous in Croatia and who isn't, so I can't really confirm that.  He was a very nice chap, though.  That I can confirm!  We'll be seeing him again so I'll accost him for a photo then.

In the meantime, this shot, taken between meetings, will mark the day.
