Wolferton Station

Until it's closure in 1969, this was the station at which the Queen would arrive when visiting Sandringham House for the holidays.

We stumbled upon this on a short afternoon walk, thought initially that it was now closed to the public, but were delighted to find that much of the station is accessible and that photographers were 'welcome' no less.

The station really is beautifully restored and maintained and a must see if you're in the area and have an hour to spare.
