Official Opening

The new science block at school, into which we moved at the start of the last half term, was officially opened today by Lord Winston (Professor Robert Winston), probably best known to the general public for his books and television appearances. The event was attended by school staff, school governors and parents.

It was a good move to have such a high profile figure to carry out the ceremony as this will undoubtedly generate plenty of positive publicity for the school in the local press, helping to confirm its (already high) reputation.
