Boom! Boom!

I was driving home when I spotted this tractor with with two huge booms spraying a field of oil seed rape near Ongar in Essex. It was a perfect evening for it. Not a breath of wind.

Spraying is quite controversial. People worry about damage to the environment and to pollinators. I'm torn, having been a grower. Hope he wasn't using anything too toxic.

The white building is Blake Hall, a stately home used as an ops centre by the RAF during the war.
