Envirothon 2k14

AHHHHHHH

Quick trip to TB with Jac and Natalie to get bagels for the Envirothon squad. One bus ride later, we arrived at Usdan and checked in. We had some breakfast in the amphitheater before things got underway.

We had to present our oral presentation first, and I was nervous. It ended up going really well, and we won Best Presentation for Nassau!

We rotated through the other tests and felt confident. Coming from four years of SciOly, this feeling was new and very welcome.

Lunch, and then awards time.

We had to give our oral presentation in front of everyone, but that wasn't as scary as I thought it would be.

WE WON FIRST PLACE AND ARE GOING TO STATES FOR ENVIROTHON!!!!!

That definitely made my day.

Bus ride home, stairs at practice, and then three hours of tutoring. Ha.

Jac, KP, Jack, and I crashed the AP Lit review sesh before chilling with Lopera. Once we decided it was finally time to leave the school (9:45) we went to Starbucks to hang out. Nights like these are fun.
