May Day Blossom

Happy Beltane!

I'd like to say that I stepped into the garden on May Day with the birds singing and the early summer sunshine warming my face. But the reality is I rushed out in the pouring rain , as I put on my cagoule and tried to keep the camera dry whilst I stole a shot of the now opened apple blossom!

At least the forecast is good for the Bank Holiday weekend and I've a day off tomorrow, owed from the week I did for my job share partner before Easter.
