St Mary's Islington

This is the church over the road from the restaurant I had lunch in today, meeting up with some old work colleagues. The pictures of them are not worth posting.

There was someone sleeping in the porch area so I crept around, kneeling in front of the church to take some upwards shots. Passers by may have thought I was kneeling in prayer.

The church stands out as the most impressive bulding on Upper Street. It is too tall for one photo-here is the spire and here is the history
