One daze at a time...

Furious challenger

You're not saying...
Furious indeed. Not the car chases... Oh, no. The shaggin assembly more so.

A big thank you to Pepe who managed to find something that required more assembly time than last year's present (My First Nuclear Reactor by Mecano)

I mean, one glance at the box and it is quite obvious that a honours degree in Civil Engineering is the entry level there.
But we got there, after much sweating and swearing and gnashing of teeth.
And when the final clips were finally attached to last J2 section, just next to the B8 bridge, Mimi decided to test the solidity of the said bridge by standing on it...
We now know that the B8 bridge cannot withstand weights of over 20 kilos...

But at least now they are happily fighting over the red and white car (the only that works sorts of properly) and Nana has been employed as a full time car retriever and replotter.

Another post-Christmas disappointment: a member of the family has been ignoring my many pre-Christmas health and safety briefings in relation to the total ban on feeding crab cakes to Finnzy-Bob.
We had a pestilence alert code red this morning when his Boxing Day nappy was opened and all the downstairs rooms at to be evacuated and all the windows opened.
This is a message of warning to all new parents out there, please may my suffering not be in vain, pay heed: do not ever, under any circumstance, feed crab to your nappy-wearing baby or toddler!
