Seals

There is a point where having slithered down a 45°, slime covered, incline with only brambles for purchase to get those precious few extra feet closer to the subject that the thought “I am definitely my father’s child” occurs.

Almost every morning I pass these harbour seals on the way to work. This morning I had time and managed to get up in time to catch the very last of early morning light.
I’d set my camera to automatic and hadn’t allowed for the length of my lens and because I’m usually using a tripod and photographing food the image stabilisation is switched off.
So the images are a little soft and not as well exposed as they could be.
Still there’s always the next time….
