Multiple Trunks

I was feeling a whole lot better today, so we went for a walk in a local bluebell wood hoping to see the real deal. Unfortunately it will take at least another week of warm weather for the bluebells to open properly, so we'll have to return at a later date.

I took lots of photos, but the colour didn't show up well so I decided to blip this amazing tree instead. I think it's a hornbeam (and you might just be able to spot some bluebells beneath it!) It seemed to have more trunks than you could count, all coming from the one tree!

Not much sunshine here, but a mild and pleasant day for a walk and it was so good to be out in the open again:-)
