Steps

We drove to Wingfield in Suffolk (very close to the border with Norfolk) today to attend the opening of the Annual Exhibition of the East Anglian Federation of photographic clubs, which was being held at Wingfield Barns, a 16th Century barn converted into an exhibition and performance space. A lovely rural location which still attracted a good attendance despite its distance from many parts of the region. A very enjoyable selection of images and the standard of photography was, as always, outstanding. I am happy to have had a print and a projected digital image accepted here.

After the exhibition we wandered around the village and visited the church - a surprisingly large church for such a small village. The construction of the church began in 1362 indicating that the location has a long history. These steps were one of the details I spotted inside the building.

Photo roughly edited from the original raw file using iPhoto on the iPad (we are staying away overnight and I don't have access to my usual computing tools).
