Autumn Fungi

It's like another world living on my old railway sleeper. The moss vibrant in colour, thick and spongy with tiny dark brown fungi sprouting. This one is fully grown but is only half the size of my little finger.

It's been mainly a dreary day, thick fog early this morning making way to a grey sky with small pockets of sun mid-morning before turning grey for the rest of the day. The air's been damp and quite chilly, a mere 9C as I type.

We had an unexpected quick dash into Christchurch to swap cars with Daughter E. The water pump has blown and there are a few issues with the steering wheel, hubby will be onto it first thing in the morning and hopefully all will be sorted before we head away in a weeks time.

I hope your all having a great weekend - Happy Sunday blippers :)
