A Very British Brunch

The day started with Buck's Fizz, English sausage and bacon, scrambled eggs and fresh tomatoes, plenty of toast and home made marmalade followed by fresh fruit salad and English breakfast tea.

After that we were enticed onto the terrace for more champagne and chocolate leaves. I'm not sure what the correct collective noun for a group of Consul General is but there were a fair few of them tucking in today.

If you look very closely the spoon gives a clue to today's host.

When you wake up in the morning, Pooh," said Piglet at last, "what's the first thing you say to yourself?"
"What's for breakfast?" said Pooh. "What do you say, Piglet?"
"I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" said Piglet.
Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said.
