Not your average garden

As the weather improves the English (and the Welsh) take themselves out on a Sunday afternoon to a garden open under the "Yellow book" scheme. Ordinary people open their gardens to the public and raise money for charity. Usually there will be tea and cake on offer too.

I say ordinary people - they are actually extra-ordinary. They all work extremely hard on their gardens. And some are exceptional, like the owners of the garden we visited today in the depths of the countryside near Raglan. A designer's garden. Beautiful. Good tea too.

For anyone interested in where we went on our mystery trip, I have backblipped.
