Sheer Determination

The great and the good of the orienteering community gathered in the Lakes this weekend to celebrate 50 years of the sport by competing in the Northern Championships. Despite the poor weather, the event was a huge success in no small measure due to the sheer hard work of the Race Organiser and his team.

Orienteering is a great participation sport with something for everybody and has a huge appeal to families. This wee fella stole the show for me today. All this and another day of freedom tomorrow - have fun blipmates : )
