The Kelpies

Had the opportunity to enjoy Falkirk's best drizzle visiting the Kelpies today, along with many other poor souls. However, the rain didn't seem to dampen people's enthusiasm for these wonderful new sculptures. To now be able to walk around them close-up and enjoy the ever-changing perspectives is a real pleasure. The Helix Park too is starting to mature and become a pleasure to visit. The trip was topped off with excellent afternoon tea at Tea Jenny's in Falkirk.

That's two good things that Falkirk deserves to be famous for, the third being that I am a Falkirk Bairn. Not a lot of people know that.....
