Flightseeing

“Flightseeing” is: ‘Sightseeing from an aircraft. Also: an instance of this’(OED). Well sometimes, I’m just in the wrong time and place to properly fulfil the requirement of the word of the day, and today was one such occasion. In anticipation of the cows being unleashed on the common, this weekend sees the annual cow hunt, where people follow clues to find different cow characters. This one is part of the ‘So you want to be in the moovies’ display. And I reckon old ET must have done a fair bit of flightseeing in his time, albeit from a bicycle rather than a plane.
