My delicious chunk of gluten-free Victoria Sponge at Wollerton Old Hall Gardens. The little honey bee seemed to prefer my cake rather than all the beautiful blossom and flowers on offer here. A lazy little bee I think!!

On the subject of bees my friend Maeve is coming over from Wales tomorrow when we will be spending the afternoon with a Bee Keeper friend who is going to give us a talk on bee keeping and show us round her beautiful gardens.

Maeve is interested in keeping bees, not me!!
