Barging...

.... literally it seemed as the sober(?) guy in charge was doing some very odd manoeuvres and damaging quite a bit of the shrubbery along the Leeds-Liverpool canal. Seeing a duck with 14 young and then another with just 5, I did wonder if some nests had been disturbed and two families had got mixed up.
At Rufford Old Hall today at the invitation of P3dro and his better half, a surprise blipmeet and enjoyable outing (although the cafe was a little chaotic). Being too short to climb over a locked gate to the canal, I did an undignified squeeze through the fence, getting stuck with rear in the air for a few moments. Luckily some blippers are gents and so not take pictures of such things. I would have, of course.
