8:41 PM ~ View of Elliot Bay From Queen Anne

8:41 PM ~ View of Elliot Bay From the Queen Anne Neighborhood, Seattle, WA

Long day at work, then home to change, then out to eat, then attended a poetry reading at the downtown branch of the Seattle Library. The two poet were Sally and Sam Green each reading from their newly published books. This was Sally's first book, "Full Immersion," of her poems that she has had published. She has been on the other side of the coin having been co-publisher and letterpress printer of Brooding Heron Press on Waldron Island, WA. Sam has been the other co-publisher and book binder and they have hand printed and bound 40 books at Brooding Heron Press out of Waldron Island over the past thirty + years. They create such beautiful hand made books. Sam read from his eleventh published book, "All That Might Be Done."

A fantastic reading!

Then off to take the blip for the day and the fading light lead me to the top of the Queen Anne Neighborhood to take the image above.

All in all, a wonderful day!
