Bavaria (somewhere on the Romantische Strasse)

In medieval times there was no Romantische Strasse - the Romantic Road was invented in the 1950s by travel agents - but this same stretch was part of a major trade route.

The Romantic Road is located almost entirely in Bavaria. Its northernmost town is Würzburg, its southernmost town is Füssen.

If anyone recognises this town, please let me know. All I can say with ertainty is that it is to the north of Landsburg am Lech and south of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

This photo was taken in March 1966, I have no record of its precise date and have thus had to make a guess.
