I would hazard a guess and say that these are Germany's favouritest fruit.

These are organic German strawberries.

They smell amazing.

They haven't a chance of surviving for more than 24 hours.

Many thanks for the concern about my ankle. It is much better today, or rather the doughnut effect is gone. Still swollen but not as much. Putting socks on and taking them off is not as much of a trial as it was.

Now should I go to get some whipping cream and then knock up some strawberry and cream tarts? And a little grated chocolate to decorate?
