Young Shopaholic in Mayfair

After a pleasant boat trip in warm sunshine from Hampton Court to Richmond yesterday, by contrast today was spent in London dodging rain showers and cold wind.

In the up market area of Mayfair I visited the new Leica shop to drool at the goodies behind the glass cases. The very friendly staff there arranged for the sensor of my camera to be checked and thoroughly cleaned whilst I waited with a cup of coffee and chatted to a couple of visiting photographers. The sensor clean took nearly an hour and is now pristine and what is even better was complementary.

Later I took a walk around Mayfair to see how the other half live including this young man with the novel form of shopping trolly.

Some more of the shots from the day can be seen on Draco's overspill
