Courtesy of one of our neighbours we have this fantastic climbing rose next to the back garden fence. It is on their side of the fence but we get as much benefit of it as they do.

After the relatively cool and damp weather yesterday today was warm and sunny, about 23 degrees. Today was the first day we managed breakfast on the terrace, and later lunch also.

In the afternoon we made a trip to the local hardware shop. Quite an expensive visit, but will be useful for us when we are here, and also for our guests also.
