A vapour trail to .......?

Occasionally I find myself longing to be up there in that plane, flying off to an unknown destination. I fantasise about pitching up at an airport and taking the next available flight to wherever.
Or wondering about the travellers up there.........where are they going and why.

I heard on the radio today that to reduce terrorist attacks people intending to fly would only be 'allowed to travel if they had a good reason for going!'
What on earth is happening to our world?
