Alex ready for the off...

I blipped this at 6:45 this morning as Fred was taking Alex out the door.
It was mild and as you can see fairly sunny. It is amazing how much he has grown since last summer. He is now using the rucksack his dad used then!

The day has been gusty but very little rain, just a few showers but sunny spells too. I expect the boys tents are up by now (7:45pm).

Fred and I went for some shopping, had lunch on the High Street and watched 'In Which We Serve' this afternoon with tea and macaroons!
As I finish this Fred is preparing a gourmet dinner. This is the life!

The desktop hard drive is officially dead :-( and a new one will be installed and loaded with all our required programmes. Life will start again...
