Fixing things

It's been a really busy day today! Did some errands, then a shop which turned out much bigger than planned; getting things up to this flat is a real challenge and even more now that it is getting hot rapidly.

Home for long enough to have a cup of tea and rest before I had to go back to the car stereo man to have my aerial (re) fixed. It's amazing how after 22 years, it is still possible to buy parts that will fit/work and of a different car brand too! I had the very talented Mahmood taking the old aerial apart and putting it back together with the new bits. Apparently the motor was still fine but a cable was broken.* Unfortunately, we ran out of time with losing daylight having started to work on it at 6:10! I have to go back again on Monday. Argh!

We'd bought 2 t-shirts earlier in the day - specifically for the car. As it is getting hot fast - leather can be uncomfortable to sit on especially if the car isn't parked in the shade. These are the solution for the next few months...

Gs blip for today.

* Prior to having antenna's incorporated into the windscreen or having them in the back of the roof, antenna's used to extend/retract when the radio was on/off.
