Weston Super even Windier

Birnbeck Pier at the Northern end of Weston Super Mare's seafront is something of a sad sight, but my trusty SunBoard app predicted the sun would appear to be setting off the end of the pier this evening. Sadly - no such luck so Gill and I both did what we could in the conditions to get some sort of an image. I did try long exposures to blur and smooth the sea but even with me leaning on the camera they still show plenty of camera shake. This is a shot taken from the shelter of the end of the pier entrance/viewing hut.

I don't normally go for monochrome but this does definitely look better without the colour.
