A Woman of our Time

Final day of the Linton Children's Book Festival today and a lot more going on. One of the biggest events was a talk by Science Novelist Lucy Hawking. I sat in for the first few minutes, she was very, very good.
Apparently her dad is quite well know ;)

Several people told me later that they were going to be astronauts. I spoke to several of the Authors/Illustrators and Storytellers today, what a great bunch of people.

A highlight was chatting to Storyteller Paul Jackson who enthralled audiences with his musical stories. Poppy and I also met Martin Impey who illustrated the book, 'Where the Poppies Now Grow' Which Hayley read as part of the History's Alive event. As Poppy helped with the props Martin insisted on drawing her a picture and signing a copy of the book for H.

Some other highlights..

Five go Fluting
Flute videos
A Minion called Dave
A normal Sunday morning in Linton
Let us in!

A brilliant event, well done folks you should all be very, very proud of yourselves.
