Caladh Harbour

We spent some of the day walking part of the second stage of the Cowal way which goes from Tighnabruaich to Glendaruel. We like the walk along the seafront at Tighnabruaich and the off road path that makes its way along the shore towards Caladh Harbour and Ormidale lodge.

Some years ago we had a static caravan at St Catherine's on Loch Fyne and often spent Sundays walking this part of the Cowal way after making the short drive to Tighnabruaich. Mr Sandy the lurcher used to enjoy the walk and now Maeve the Deerhound has followed in his footsteps.
