Peaceful Place

Today was a funny day, the heavy rain overnight had slipped away and during the course of he morning it dried up and the sun was out, there was a beautiful warmth in the sun with not a breath of wind and I sat on the front steps of the house enjoying the warmth on my face.

I went for a wander and shot a few frames as the sun backlit a local war memorial. I liked the way the grass seemed to bow in reverence towards this monument and framed it beautifully, I liked this shot and didn't shoot anything else today, I hope you like it too
