Mother Duck

Just a few weeks ago this mother duck gave birth to 9 eggs, now she can proudly overlook her offspring of 8 almost - my how they grow - mature ducklings!

Not that it's been easy for her to protect them from all kind of predators.

I was amazed to see her viciously attack dogs, cats, swans, moorhens and more…
and they all gave up!

Come closer and view her at LARGE, she won't attack you ;-)
