The 'New' Church

Okay, It might sound strange, but the New Church in Delft origins from 1396 and it took exactly 100 years till the tower was finished.

This gothic style church faces the Town Hall - seen in the foreground - with a big public square in-between.

It's a protestant church and has been connected to our Royal Family since Willem van Oranje was buried there in 1584 and has every one of our Royal Family since.

Oh yes, its 108 meters high and that makes it the second highest in Holland, only the Dom in Utrecht beats it.
