The Kennels courtyard

The Kennels, Goodwood's sporting members' private club, is a lovely 18thC James Wyatt designed building. I blipped it Here in early Spring last year, with its symmetrical courtyard and arty bollards I now know are by Anthony Gormley. The fresh green contrasts wonderfully with the pointy grey flint of the building. It looked amazing in the afternoon sunshine.

The cast iron Bollards (2001) are called Oval, Snowman, Peg, and Penis ~ I leave you to judge which is which, you might need to look in Large! You can buy a set if you are so minded from the Cass Foundation down the road.
