New Arrangements

Norman is still with us - in fact, he celebrated his fourth birthday recently (unfortunately the actual date fell while we were away).

Here we see the old boy looking relaxed (and cute!) in a scene that illustrates the 'New Deal' offered to our rabbits since the start of the year: no longer do they have the run of the entire living room while we are around, but they do now have the opportunity to get outside their cages onto the carpet even when we're not, thanks to the play pens we've bought and joined up to the fronts of their cages.

Norman is seen here in the pen on the front of the cage he shares with Jessica.

Just visible here (behind the dustpan!) is the pen attached to the cage occupied by the third member of our rabbit household, Emma, who I don't think I've mentioned here before, and have certainly not yet photographed. She's still very shy, and we're not ready to let her run with the others just yet since there was a bit of a nasty incident between her and Jessica soon after her arrival in our house in the summer of last year.
