When you seen a wide open expanse of soft grass, do you cartwheel? No, me neither but we are not seven years old! Off she goes over and over whenever conditions permit, what a lovely stage of life!

Grand day today as the event that is very dear to us the Kendal Mountain Festival (as in we organise/live and breath it) won 'Best Tourism Event of the Year' at the Visit England Awards last night. It had been a labour of love and many tears the last 5 years so this is very welcome to us indeed!

Definitely worthy of a cartwheel or two in celebration!
