Give!

8:30pm and there's chat in the house. And chocolates.

We open our home ever couple if weeks so some folks from our KCC family can gather together. It's a privilege to spend time with these amazing people.

None of us are perfect. None of us have it all together. But we can share our stories, consider the stories from the the early church (and before) from the bible (imagine there being relevance in a book assembled from manuscripts hundreds and thousands of years old!). And we can listen for the God speaking through it all. Building up and challenging each other.

Amazing.

You never know what you're going to get. Or be asked to give. The giving it the most important part though. That posture of giving can clear away the "I'm more important than you and your problems" mentality that often clouds our living.

In other news, back to work today and a fairly intense old time of it. Cycled in to spin my legs after Sunday's event. Train home to make it at a reasonable hour.

Grateful for the gifts I've been given.
