Here again

This is one of my favourite views of my favourite tree.

I have blipped it before and will blip it again.

The landowner has planted lots more trees over the past few months, some of which can be seen in the background.   I haven't looked to see what the ones there are but he has told me that they are all native and that the planting included 39 black poplars which almost doubles the number of that species in our county.

They are, he also advised, one of the most endangered of our native trees.
