Roosting......

Just when I thought things were looking up we were called to an emergency staff meeting at lunchtime, OFSTED are coming tomorrow and Friday!!! Yikes it will be all hands on deck!
It was later evening when I finally managed to get out to take any shots for today's blip, and as the last little patches of sunlight were rapidly disappearing from the rough grassland I noticed this Common blue - Polyommatus icarus roosting in the long grass. I love common blues, they are plentiful around where I live, and really add a vibrant splash of colour as they dance around in he meadows.
Hopefully tomorrow I will get chance to go to the meadows again and find you some more beauties.
