A little stowaway!

Last week we visited Houghton HallGarden Centre to buy among other things plants for hanging baskets. As they had been under a greenhouse roof admittedly open on 2 sides I felt they should be hardened off before transplanting. Over the last week I have been hardening them of and decided today that there was little chance of frost and so among other gardening tasks we planted up FredaH's baskets.

While we were working away this little chap appeared and so I couldn't resist blipping them. To try to give scale the shell was smaller than my little finger nail. Fortunately it was prepared to pose around on the polystyrene tray the plants had been in, so that sorted today's blip which was fortunate as it has been a busy day.
