Wanderings & Witterings

Wheels

On Wednesday I visited Summerlee Heritage Museum in Coatbridge. I hadn't been there in ages and was amazed at how different the site was from that previous visit.

There were lots of outdoor and indoor exhibits, a working 'Glasgow Corporation' tram, a chance to walk along a stretch of what remains of the Monkland Canal - all-in-all a very pleasant way to spend a few hours. And, thanks to the person in our church who organises these monthly 'daytrippers' visits, all planned so we can use our free bus passes to get there! (And the museum itself is free.)

Took lots of photos on the day, but liked this one of the pink wheels.
